Cisco, Celcom enhances M'sian mobile connectivity experience Cisco Systems and Celcom Axiata Bhd announced that their particular converged software-defined system (SDN) transport facilities, which both businesses said leveraged machine learning to significantly enhance their service provisioning time

Within a statement, Cisco claimed this deployment has enabled Celcom to enhance its go to market agility and create another ready network designed for business of all dimensions as well as consumers.

The company stated during the pandemic and movement control order (MCO) in 2020, Celcom’s adoption from the SDN transport infrastructure successfully used automated IP parameter verifications to reduced individual errors.

This also mitigates the potential risks of network services disruptions as well as increased faster time to market capabilities for Celcom’s products and services, it said.

It said the SDN transport network may simultaneously enable fixed and mobile connectivity services for consumers and businesses of most sizes coupling current immersive experiences, including IoT connectivity.

Converged SDN transport system simplifies the network and improves scalability while maintaining a regular and superior client experience, Cisco mentioned.

Built with leading edge end-to-end section routing enabled IP network, one of the very first deployments in the country, Cisco provides an unified, policy-aware network architecture along with seamless integration between your transport and data center domains.

According to Cisco, segment routing also provides the network with the most cost-effective, end-to-end network slicing and low latency features, which also long term proofs Celcom’s network.
