One of the region’s biggest such events contains hands-on exhibits and a food festival
The Sustainability Expo 2022 (SX 2022), one of the biggest sustainability events within Southeast Asia, can kick off today in the newly renovated King Sirikit National Conference Centre (QSNCC) within Bangkok.
The seven-day occasion is organised by five corporate durability leaders: Frasers Home (Thailand) Plc, PTT Global Chemical Plc, SCG, Thai Drink Plc, and Thailänder Union Group Plc, on an area of forty, 000 square metre distances across G plus LG floors from the convention centre.
Open from today to Sunday, from 10am to 9pm, the expo is organised underneath the theme of “Sufficiency for Sustainability”.

Showcases from worldwide and domestic organisations are divided in to four zones: “Sufficiency Economy Philosophy & Inspiration”, “Better Me”, “Better Living” plus “Better Community”.
The Sufficiency Economy Philosophy & Inspiration zone allows visitors to observe how each organisation embraces adequacy economy philosophy being a pathway to realising sustainable development objectives. Global policies and international initiatives through various countries may also be on show here, illustrating the contacts between various sustainable development concepts.
The Better Me zone showcases improvements in healthcare, long term food and agricultural technology as well as lifelong understanding opportunities for all.
The Better Living zone promotes the circular economy idea including clean power, responsible production plus consumption, and efforts by leading companies to achieve net 0 emission.
The Better Community zone informs a story of how individuals can contribute to developing a better future for community, including the way we live, learn, function and play. Exhibitions in this area focus on eco-friendly and digital solutions by global tech companies and experts on sustainable city development.
Live talks and interactive programmes are featured in three locations: the Fantastic Plenary Hall, Talk Stage and Youth Stage. Visitors may join forums, screen discussions, workshops plus career advice within sustainability.
In addition , activities for the LG floor are designed to give hands-on encounters in sustainable development to visitors. The region is split into 3 main sections: the particular SX Food Event, Planet Kids Playground and Sustainable Industry.
