SINGAPORE:  , Train services on the Sengkang- Punggol LRT line were affected for over four hours on Sunday ( Jun 9 ) morning  , due to a signalling fault.  ,
SBS Transit initially reported on X at 5:30 a.m. that both Sengkang and Punggol LRT stations had no LRT company.
It apologised for the hassle caused, stating that no fares may be taken if commuters left the damaged LRT stations. Additionally, completely normal and bridging buses had been made accessible at both stations.
SBS Transit provided an update at 9:25 am stating that a signal issue caused no teach service on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT and that treatment work is being done.  ,
For more information, passengers were advised to use the SBS Transit software under the” Alternative Transfer Option” for more information and to follow directional signs to get to the board stage for the , free regular and crossing bus services.
SBS Transit after reported that although train service on the Sengkang- Punggol LRT system had resumed since 10.12am, completely normal and crossing bus services were also offered at designated bus stops.
