Indonesia begins chicken exports to Singapore; first shipment contains 50 tonnes of frozen chicken

Besides Singapore, CPI has also exported chicken and poultry products to The japanese, Timor-Leste, Papua Guinea and Qatar.

According to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), three companies through Indonesia had been given authorization to export chicken meat and chicken meat products into the country.

2 of the companies are Indonesian subsidiaries of Charoen Pokphand, while the some other is a subsidiary associated with Indonesian frozen food giant Japfa Comfeed.

It is not yet known when the various other two companies will start exporting their products to Singapore.

The particular Indonesian Agriculture Ministry said earlier this week that there are 12 some other Indonesian companies which are currently seeking permission to export poultry products to Singapore. All applications are actually submitted to SFA.
