Anntonia Porsild describes herself as a beauty wife who pursues her goals, and she has never given up on progress.

The second runner-up of Miss Universe 2023, who spoke at the Bangkok Post Women Vision Forum 2024, gave the audience an inspiration with her opinions on children’s voices that were focused on morality and making a change.

She was given the opportunity to speak out for change that was both about her and the whole nation.

But she recalls that when she won the Miss Supranational contest in 2019, there were instances of arbitrary hatred for her on social media that she had to question her worth.

She wondered if her victory was entirely based on her appearance, despite her confidence in her abilities and power.

Eventually, she made it her mission to transcend the norms of a beauty queen, things that her mother, who had always encouraged her, inspired her to do.

Mr Anntonia started her basis 11 years ago to help the poor, particularly children with disabilities.

I enjoy giving to those in need, she said, adding,” I enjoy sharing it with my fans and followers.”

Intending to take a second king to Thailand, she competed in the Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. She told herself she could do anything a Miss Universe may do, including boldly giving up and inspiring society, even though she did not win the top prize.

” If I am meant for the king, it may come my way. If not, it will be a valuable lessons because winning and losing always comes with success. How we react to that damage is entirely up to us,” she said.

” I can also support the local community and encourage people all over the world. Why may I restrain myself only because I lack the belt and king?

” Winning comes in a variety of forms and shapes. It all depends on our thinking and how we choose to take advantage of chances and failures.

” I am thankful that I did not]win because if it came that quickly, I would not be able to force myself to who I am now and be able to stand around and teach so many people about the benefits of losing,” said one woman.

She continued, noting that disappointments helped design her figure into who she is now and how to move ahead.

Do n’t let the losses influence how you choose to proceed in life. Always have a positive attitude because, in the end, anger is a waste of time, and our life are but short”, she said.

” If we spend time fretting about our history, those mistakes we made, or what we could have done, we become overwhelmed and overlook opportunities that are awaiting us.”
