SINGAPORE: Singapore’s best mixed double pair of Terry Hee and Jessica Tan have qualified for the future Paris Olympics.
The husband-and-wife duo will compete at the Games, according to a statement from the Singapore Badminton Association to CNA on Monday ( May 27 ).
Hee and Tan are now 18th in the” Race to Paris” ranking structure, but they were given a chance to attend the Games after Oceania leaders Australia did not reserve a place for the mixed double competition in Paris.
The primary 13 ready pairs are given slots in the positioning system, while the western warriors of Oceania, America, and Africa receive the final three spots.
