As part of Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration ( CDA ) program in Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia ( UTM) announced last month that it has expanded its partnership with Cisco to usher in a new era of hybrid learning for its students. In order to improve the learning experience for students, instructors, researchers, and administrators, six captain classrooms at UTM have been transformed as part of this initiative using Cisco’s collaboration and stable connectivity technologies.

The technology leader stated in a statement that the future of learning will be cross and will include an innovative fusion of online and in-person learning experiences that will give students access to an adaptable learning experience from everywhere. As a result, &nbsp, UTM, and Cisco have collaborated to rethink how understanding environments and meet spaces are designed, deployed, or managed across campuses. This is in addition to its ten-year-long collaboration to provide students with important specialized skills and industry experience through Cisco Networking Academy, one of the longest-standing IT- skills-to-jobs programs in the world.

It added that Cisco has offered its full spectrum of purpose-built, synthetic intelligence-powered collaboration tools and connectivity solutions to provide engaging cross learning experiences, including the Cisco Roomkit, Webex Smart Boards, switches, Lead Television, and cameras, in collaboration with Atek Technology, which oversaw the technology installation.

foresee UTM 2025: A plan for accommodating and cross learning

The agreement, according to Cisco, supports UTM’s perceive 2025 by promoting the creation of online content like Massive Open Online Courses and Micro Credential Modules, enabling the implementation of integrated learning, and providing educational programs completely online through Open and Distance Learning. The features are essential for hastening these advancements and assisting UTM in realizing its perspective.

With the successful completion of the first step at UTM, the project’s affect is now clear, according to the company, which asserts that nearly 1, 000 students have benefited from the improved wise rooms in a variety of ways. In addition, &nbsp,

Learn from everywhere: Pre-built AI collaboration tools, such as room products with built-in speakers, cameras, controls, and displays supported by underlying safe communication, have taken the place of conventional AV equipment. This has made it possible for UTM students in Malaysia to learn everywhere, and it has also removed geographic obstacles that have prevented the company from launching more foreign student-focused programs.

  • Increased customer experience for teaching and learning: Students and lecturers can now quickly and securely access college resources and applications thanks to faster connectivity from campus LAN switches.
  • Enriched electronic content: These innovations have made it possible for UTM to create an entirely online academic education that will be future-proof in both physical and virtual classrooms. In order to provide and create the younger generation and individuals with cutting-edge technology and knowledge in the online market, UTM is now well-positioned to support the government’s plan.

Cisco and UTM have jointly created a coaching and monthly engineering refresh program to make sure the university moves in the right direction toward transformation. As a result, Cisco products and options are used effectively, allowing for remote teaching and learning.

According to Hana Raja, managing chairman of Cisco Malaysia, UTM has collaborated with Cisco on its international skills-to-job program, Cisco Networking Academy, where it has nurtured, trained, and inspired the country’s next wave of technological talent. &nbsp,

She continued,” We are glad to have taken the next step in our relationship to invest in hybrid teaching experience with our collection of AI-powered cooperation and seamless digital connectivity&nbsp, solutions for students to learn from anywhere.” &nbsp,

Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration and Social Academy programs work in tandem to enable communities through technology and promote prospects through education, according to Clarence Barboza, top producer, Digital Impact Office, Asia Pacific, Japan, and China. &nbsp,

Now, this begins with creating opportunities for people all over the world to take part in the modern economy and making learning without boundaries a fact. With our systems as an enabler, he continued,” We are proud to work with UTM and other higher learning institutions in Malaysia to develop creativity, skills, and training for individuals regardless of their location. &nbsp,

The partnership with Cisco, according to Dr&nbsp, Ahmad Fauzi al Ismail, vice president of UTM, supports the school’s goal of fostering diverse learning and hybrid learning. &nbsp,

” Through the Cisco CDA system, our commitment to providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning is reinforced. This collaboration, he continued,” not only strengthens our technological skills but also positions UTM as a trailblazer in the implementation of innovative learning solutions.”
