TNG Digital and Visa donates US$251,000 to United Voice to empower individuals with learning disabilities

The TNG app Visa card, the first corporate social responsibility ( Social )- linked Visa prepaid cards in Malaysia, was introduced in January 2023 by Touch’n Go en Wallet’s operator. US$ 0.43 ( RM2 ) was donated to United Voice for each card application. These funds will be used to fund initiatives that will improve career opportunities for people with learning disabilities by providing them with upskilling, education, and knowledge.

Beginning in October 2023, United Voice will use some of the money for “Skills Training for Employment,” which will concentrate on on-the-job coaching and simple computer and communication skills as well as social interaction, conversation, basic skills, job competence, and individual creativity.

The money has also helped the” Health and Wellness Programme,” which encourages functional independence through activities like balance, muscular strength, natural motion, coordination, flexibility, agility training, and games. Even through this training, some people have shown that they can guide and direct others. The remaining sum is set aside for 2024’s upcoming events.
