In Chumphon, in the southwestern province of Chumphon, police arrested six defendants with more than 1, 000 transmitted reptiles and penguins. The seized creatures were going to Taiwan, South Korea, and Hong Kong.

Four people and two girls were detained on Thursday morning at 2am with six delivery trucks weighing 1, 076 transmitted reptiles and 48 penguins at a resort in the Chumphon district’s tambon Khun Krathing, according to Pol Maj Gen Wacharin Pusit, head of the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Suppression Division.

” It is the largest seizure of animals made in a single arrest”, he said.

The suspects, identified as Pichitpol Sriduangmaneechai, 31, Jitrin Pumalee, 39, Ong- craft Sriduangmaneechai, 29, Weeriya- on Pumalee, 39, Thaweepong Jampatong, 43, and Juthamas Jitjaeng, 33, denied all costs.

Some of the seized transmitted reptiles.

The exotic animals were imported from Madagascar and transported through Sumatra to the southern state of Satun, according to the captain. The pirates were connected to a global network that traded animals. &nbsp,

He claimed that if the creatures had not been interrogated in Chumphon, they would have been taken to Bangkok and then smuggled into Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan.

In some states, persons believed that diffused reptiles were sacred animals. In Thailand, a diffused turtle may charge 100, 000 baht, but the price could soar to 1 million ringgit in Hong Kong, he added.

Over 40 sloths were found during the arrest in Chumphon.
