In Narathiwat, a destroyed frontier police officer who is wanted for the nearly ten-year-old kidnapping and murder of two young men in Songkhla has been detained.

According to the Central Investigation Bureau ( CIB ), police commandos detained Pol Sergeant Khomkrit Maneewong, 39, on Wednesday in front of a home in the Cho Airong district.

Khomkrit was wanted on several charges, including engaging in death, unlawful possession and use of weapon, and unlawful confinement causing fatalities.

His arrest came after the bodies of two people who had been abducted in Sathing Phra district’s Songkhla Lake were discovered floating in June 2015. &nbsp,

On June 6, 2015, authorities at Singha Nakhon train received information that the two young men, identified only as Phanu, 21, and Narenrit, 17, had been abducted by a group of armed men. On June 7, Phanu’s figure was eventually discovered floating in Songkhla Lake, with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body. The following day, Narenrit’s body was found in the same lake with severe head injuries, believed to have been caused by a painful thing.

The research revealed who the killers were and how they were identified. Court approval was sought to jail five defendants, and four were immediately apprehended. Khomkrit, the remaining think, had evaded imprisonment until his record on Wednesday.

Five firearms and ammunition were also taken from the property by the arresting group.

During doubting, the former commander admitted to being a believe in the warrant. Although he denied shooting the patients, he claimed to have witnessed the incident. He was turned over to the Cho Airong officers.

Khomkrit was fired from the border patrol officers power in 2014 because of her alleged participation with the illegal drug trade, according to a cause.
