In order to fine-tune their opinions on the nation’s economic, financial, and financial affairs, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin announced on Monday that he would hold additional talks with Bank of Thailand government Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput.

Mr. Srettha, who serves as the finance minister in addition to the governor of the central bank, said he agreed and disagreed on a number of issues brought up during their 45-minute discussion but declined to give specifics.

The primary minister insisted that the government’s plans that had already been implemented would not be altered and stated that such discussions may take place frequently.

The primary minister stated that there is no issue and that we have discussed every problem.

Mr. Srettha asserted that he unquestionably respects Mrs. Sethaput’s viewpoints.

Sethaput: More conversation

Mr. Srettha responded that he was worried about everything that affected women’s livelihoods when the media questioned him about his particular concerns regarding the undermining baht.

Additionally, Mr. Srettha stated on X, a fully Twitter-based platform, that the meeting with Dr. Sethaput was beneficial and that similar discussions would take place every month.

The conference, which was held at Government House, coincided with rumors that the prime minister and the government of the central bank did not agree on the questionable Pheu Thai election promise of a digital wallet program worth 10,000 baht.
