pitchIN appoints Xelia Tong as COO

Xelia Tong has been named Chief Operating Officer by pitchIN, successful as of 1 September 2023.

Tong is a well-known figure in Malaysia’s early-stage funding and funding community. She has held numerous important posts, including those at ScaleUp Malaysia, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Cradle Fund, and Malaysia Debt Ventures.

PitchIN’s Equity Crowdfunding ( ECF ) and Initial Exchange Offering ( IEO ) platforms, as well as the soon-to-be-launched Secondary Market platform, will all be managed by Tong.

She will have the backing of a capable management team that includes Hanif Tamin, mind of the pitchIN Academy, ECF head Nisa Zulkifi, Legal and Compliance mind Faten Nabila, and chief technology officer Steven Wong. In October 2023, the IEO team’s mind may be appointed.
