The head of the Pheu Thai household and the girl of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, Paetongtarn Shinwarn, declared on Tuesday that if that is what the party wants, she is prepared to direct it.

She said she would be willing to give her best if chosen, even though the group’s future president has not yet been decided.

Ms. Paetongtarn, 37, declared at an event held to commemorate the party’s 16th anniversary — the third iteration of the Thai Rak Thai Party founded by her father in 1998 — that she would put her best effort into working for the group regardless of my position within the organization.

I’ll concentrate on the group’s objectives. Even if someone else is chosen to lead the party, it won’t have an impact on me, she continued.

In addition, Ms. Paetongtarn expressed her pleasure at serving as vice-chair of the regional sweet energy strategy commission, which is presided over by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin. She noted that Pheu Thai had supported soft-power initiatives during the election campaign.

Ms. Paetongtarn responded that she would have to travel to the intricate for discussions but wouldn’t mind if the committee had to work remotely to accommodate the group’s flexibility when questioned about starting her job at parliament.

She continued,” I’d be thrilled to go back to Government House.” ” When my father was the prime minister and I was very young, I used to go there.” If it still resembles what I remember, please let me know.

On October 16, the Pheu Thai Party intends to hold a public forum to choose its new leader and senior committee.

Dr. Cholnan announced his resignation on August 30 in accordance with his promise to resign if Pheu Thai established a state with military-related functions. The 62-year-old Nan doctor, yet, continues to serve as the cabinet’s minister of public health.

The Pheu Thai Party’s deputy prime minister and deputy president, Phumtham Wechayachai, stated that the group would like to promote talented young people to join. He continued,” Senior party members had back down and support a younger head.”

Some Pheu Thai MPs are thought to support Ms. Paetongtarn taking the helm.

Mr. Phumtham responded that Ms. Paetongtarn is capable and would be a good fit for the position when asked if she will be chosen as president. The new administrative board of the party may make the choice, though.
