Macau lockdown: Gambling hub shuts casinos amid Covid outbreak

Macau closed almost all its casinos for the first time in more than 2 yrs on Monday following a coronavirus outbreak within the world’s biggest betting hub.

Specialists have ordered non-essential businesses, which includes more than 30 casinos, in order to shut for a 7 days.

The city has recorded 1, 526 Covid cases since the center of June based on official figures.
