PASSENGERS ‘ Stress MOUNT

As the outlines grew, but did people ‘ frustration and anxiety.

Scoot customer Tang Runxin, whose trip is scheduled to depart at 4.30pm to Hangzhou, said he was anxious about missing his journey.

When CNA reached him at 3.45pm, Mr. Tang, who had been queuing for more than an hour, said,” They told me to wait and that maybe people will sign me.”

” They said I’ll arrive at my flight on time but I do n’t know if I’ll be able to do that”, said the Chinese national.

Nicole Lin, a Scoot rider whose journey to KL was scheduled to depart at 5 p.m., claimed she had seen some media reports about the disturbance while heading to the airport. She was unfazed, though, because her journey was only a short while ahead.

The 27-year-old said,” I’m never too stressed out but because I already checked in online; I just need to get my boarding pass and baggage tag.”

” But I think we have to wait and see because it’s moving rather slowly”, she added.

When some people realized they had missed their planes, rumors started to erupt.

At Scoot’s trip control counter, CNA witnessed some angry people and a staff member having a heated exchange. One of the individuals reportedly yelled,” I have been waiting for two time.”

Despite receiving assurances from the airport employees that the aircraft would not depart without her, the same traveler who just wanted to be known as Ms. Tan later admitted to CNA that she had missed her trip.

Ms. Tan claimed that she arrived at the airport before 2 p.m. and that employees had repeatedly instructed her to wait in line. She was scheduled to leave from Singapore to Ipoh at 3.25 p.m.

The plane disappeared as they waited,” they kept saying, please delay, please wait,” they continued. It left without us, it ditched us”, said Ms Tan.

They informed us that the earliest flight may be tomorrow and that we would need to travel to Kuala Lumpur, which would require a trip to Ipoh from it.

“( The staff at the Scoot flight management counter ) kept saying’ this is not our fault, this is not our fault. Nobody wants this ‘”, she added.

” He said’ that’s all we can accomplish. Enough is enough. We are trying to support. Do n’t disturb ‘”, she said.

” It’s so frustrating. It’s been a problem”.
