Police plan to search for arrest warrants the following week for two people who are suspected of being responsible for the oil-smuggling vessels that went missing this quarter from a policeman wharf in Chon Buri, according to a source who spoke to the media on Friday.

The two suspects are” Joe Namman Thuen” — also known as” Joe Pattani”— and a man named Mr Lek, whom the Central Investigation Bureau ( CIB ) believes is his manager. When the 28 ship’s crewmen were primary detained in the middle of March, Mr. Lek set up the 3 million-baht loan.

According to the cause, the CIB may request that Interpol problem red notices to the two principal suspects because they are believed to have fled abroad.

On June 11, 15 of the 28 team members jumped aboard the three vessels and escaped into Thai waters from the Sattahip in Chon Buri. The vessels were carrying 330, 000 gallons of smuggled energy at the time.

Just eight crewmen were on table when the vessels and staff were recaptured near the sea border with Malaysia next Monday, and the majority of the diesel fuel had been sucked away.

The vessels are thought to be owned by the Joe Pattani system, a infamous southern fuel criminal. According to a Line chat between him and Joe Pattani that was recently leaked, a marine police officer with the Thai initial Nor (” N” ) was reportedly involved.

The Oil Smuggling Suppression Centre’s chairman, Pol Gen Kraiboon Suadsong, said on Thursday that it had received a report on the matter from Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.

The investigating team is currently looking for a sizable vehicle known as K9.

While all three vessels were in Cambodia, it apparently drained the seized oil from it. The fleet may still be in Thai waters, according to the authorities.

Pol Maj Gen Jaroonkiat Pankaew, the CIB assistant director, said the situation has been making headway.

Police are looking for more proof to discover the genius and the person who gave the crew the order to steal the three seized warships.

House Committee on Police Affairs, which is led by Democratic MP Chaichana Detdecho, announced that it had received a statement about a marine police officer’s presence. He claimed that the suspect was a deputy superintendent whose name begins with Sor (” S” ) ).
