A local hospital has been temporarily closed since Wednesday night due to thick smoke from a fire at a desolate substance warehouse in the Phachi district.

Thirty-five sufferers were ejected from Phachi Hospital, and 18 of them were moved to three Ayutthaya state hospitals. &nbsp,

The blaze broke out at about 6pm, engulfing the inventory and sending dust, tinged with the scent of chemical compounds, to Phachi Hospital, which was about 600 feet apart. On Thursday, at around 2 a.m., the hearth was contained.

According to authorities, about 4, 000 tonnes of handled chemicals, seized much earlier and awaiting waste, were stored at the inventory on Uthai- Phachi Road.

Wat Khok Muang, which also houses a university, was the location of the fire’s victims.

Due to the widespread smoke emanating from the scene, Dr. Thongchai Keeratihattayakorn, director-general of the Department of Disease Control ( DDC ), stated on Thursday that health officials were monitoring the health of the affected people.
