Former teacher charged with possessing child pornography, making obscene films

A former teacher in Singapore was accused of obstructing justice by failing to give the police login credentials to his mobile devices and possessing child pornography on Monday ( Jun 10 ).

Collapse Eugene, a 40- year- ancient Singaporean, was given four claims in full.

Court documents state that he possessed&nbsp, 10 parts of child abuse materials at a level in&nbsp, Corporation Road in March 2023. He is also accused of having&nbsp, 3, 796 bits of vulgar materials and making&nbsp, 23 inappropriate movie between June 2019 and November 2019.

The authorities are charged with willfully obstructing the course of justice by using an iPhone and a MacBook without giving them signup qualifications.

Collapse stated that he would not be retaining legal counsel and that he would enter a guilty plea in July.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Education said Collapse has been suspended since March 2023 and is no greater teaching in any schools in response to inquiries from CNA.

The spokesperson stated that” MOE takes a serious view of staff misconduct and may take punitive action against those who violate our standards of conduct and control, including departure from service.”

If convicted of obstructing fairness, Collapse may be jailed for up to seven years, fined, or both.

For presenting child abuse stuff, he could be jailed for up to five years, and fined or caned.

For possessing outrageous stuff, he could be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$ 20, 000, or both.

For making outrageous stuff, he could be jailed for up to two years, fined up to S$ 40, 000, or both.
