Foreigners fall to their deaths

Chon Buri: On Sunday morning, two unusual men—a Swede and a Briton—died in Pattaya City, about 30 minutes apart from one another.

Despite their resemblance to similar situations, the authorities have not yet determined whether the cases were death, according to Pol Lt. Aniruj Jeroh, a police investigator at the Pattaya City police station.

In the first event, Pol Lt. Aniruj was informed of a foreign national who had died after collapsing on Pattaya Sai 3 Road. The man’s name was Jack Imgemar Reffhood, 60, and he was from Sweden.

Security watch Nanthaphop Luakthaisong, 25, claimed to have caught a glimpse of something in image falling from the second floor out of the part of his eye. A few seconds afterwards, he heard the impact’s tone.

According to Pol Lt. Aniruj, there were no indications of conflict inside Room No. 309, where the Swede fell.

At around 2.30 am, he was alerted to a next slide. The next resort is located in the heart of Pattaya on Soi Bua Khao.

According to Pol Lt. Aniruj, the figure was identified as that of Martin Upton, a 69-year-old American gentleman who was thought to have jumped from Room No. 408 on the fifth floor.

When she overheard one pleading for assistance, a hotel employee claimed to be lying down.

She used a flame to find the man on the ground, hurt and sobbing in agony. He was taken to the hospital, where he eventually passed away from his wounds. Authorities are still looking into this.
