Second Minister for National Development Indranee Rajah announced these upgrades on Sunday( Sep 17 ), which are a part of the Housing and Development Board’s ( HDB ) Remaking Our Heartland ( ROH ) program, nbsp, and other revitalization plans for Bukit Meralh.

The third group of cities to be included in the ROH program in 2020 was Bukit Merah, along with Ang Mo Kio, Queenstown, and Choa Chu Kang. & nbsp,

The program, which Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong initially unveiled in 2007, aims to update older lands to accommodate the community’s evolving needs while preserving the distinctiveness of the HDB strongholds.

In order to get residents’ and stakeholders’ opinions when creating the replacement plans for the third batch of ROH towns, HDB said in a press release on Sunday that it had conducted several surveys and focus groups with them between 2020 and 2022.

Users will be able to travel between Bukit Merah Town Centre and Redhill MRT place safer and more conveniently thanks to the addition of new pedestrian and riding lines, protected linkways, and other features along redhill Close. & nbsp,

By 2026, Keppel and Cantonment Stations, two fresh MRT stations, did open, completing the Marina Bay stop loop and improving Bukit Merah residents’ and commuters’ rail network connectivity.
