Officers discovered 2.5 kilograms of cow beef from Argentina, Panama, Uruguay, and New Zealand as well as 2. 6 tons of buffalo beef imported from India during an inspection of the site’s refrigerated pots.

Officials have been given instructions by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin to assist in the return of 162 Thais who are being held captive by Myanmar troops and an ally of ethnic armed groups in Laukkai, a border area between China and Myanmar.

According to Mr. Srettha, the 162 Thais were being saved and given safe haven by the Thai consulate in Yangon and Myanmar government. All Thais from the region are currently being repatriated, according to state official Chai Wacharonke on Friday.

According to Mr. Chai,” The prime minister has ordered all relevant agencies to give all Thais urgent assistance and bring them home carefully.”

About 200 Thai citizens were among the 500 foreigners being held by government forces in Laukkai and being used as” people weapons ,” according to The Irrawaddy, an independent Myanmar advertising channel, on Thursday.

189 Thais and citizens of nations like Nepal, Ethiopia, and Laos were among the victims, according to the report.

The immigrants had just been saved from online fraud companies operating in the northern Shan State, according to humanitarian staff.

However, they have been transported to military tents by a junta-controlled anti-human trafficking organization to serve as forced laborers for the construction of bunkers, trenches, and the transportation of quality.

At least 30 Thais, the majority of whom were farm laborers, were killed on October 7 during the Hamas militants’ frenzy in southern Israel, prompting the effort to save them from the chaos in neighboring Myanmar. 23 Thais are known to have been taken as captives by Palestinian militants, and 16 were injured.

In Shan State, where an alliance of racial minority troops fighting for independence launched a number of coordinated attacks on dictatorship jobs last year, there was intense battle.

The ruling government of Myanmar claims to have lost control of many border towns, including Chinshwehaw, a neighboring Yunnan province in China.

More than 23, 000 people were reportedly recently displaced by the battle on Friday, according to United Nations reports, while thousands of people fled to China in Myanmar.

According to Chinese media reports, displaced people were lining up in long lines to enter the nation, and some local Foreign towns were prepared to leave should the conflict worsen.

On Thursday, the Chinese foreign ministry urged all parties to” soon cease fire ,” mediate the conflict, and guarantee border security.

The” Three Brotherhood Alliance” stated in a joint statement that the attack was intended to overthrow” dictatorial rule” in Myanmar and target criminal gangs operating telecom scams that they claimed the junta protected.

In recent years, the region has developed into a hotspot for telecom and other website fraud, and China has intensified its efforts to stop the crime by apprehending lots of suspects.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara stated earlier on Friday that there were likely” many types of function” in northern Myanmar but that he did not know what the Vietnamese people were doing it.

On October 10, 2023, a large funeral is held to destroy the casualties of the military attack on the camp for displaced people close to the northern Myanmar city of Laiza. Coffins are lined up next to graves. ( Image: AFP)

The coup of Myanmar did not respond right away to a request for comment.

A defense takeover in February 2021 overthrew a democratically elected government headed by Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, and since then, Myanmar has been in disarray.

In some places, previously formed pro-democracy rebel groups have joined forces with ethnic minority guerrillas that have been calling for more autonomy for decades.
