CHON BURI: On Friday, authorities raided a cool storage facility in the Bang Lamung city and took 5.1 tonnes of bull and cow meat without an appropriate goods movement document.

The page in tambon Ban Pong, Bang Lamung, may have been involved in the illegal importation of beef products, which were then processed for transmission within the state, according to complaints made by locals to the provincial domestic security operations control and cattle offices.

Officers discovered 2.5 kilograms of cow beef from Argentina, Panama, Uruguay, and New Zealand as well as 2. 6 tons of buffalo beef imported from India during an inspection of the site’s refrigerated pots.

The beef was seized because the cold storage operator failed to submit the required paperwork for the Department of Livestock Development’s assessment of the products movement.

Within 15 days, the cold store controller must submit the necessary file. Legal activity under Sections 22 and 31 of the Animal Epidemics Act of 2015 may be taken if you don’t agree.
