CADS announces 16 recipients for its Sunrise Awards

CADS announces 16 recipients for its Sunrise Awards The middle of Applied Data Science (CADS) announced that it has picked 16 recipients for its 2021 CADS Sunrise Awards.  

Recognized for their positive effect in data technology, analytics and AI fields, these top 16 data scientists hail from Asean markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Asia, the company said within a statement.

“This annual award may set an industry regular for top young information talent hallmarks in this area in the coming years, ” she additional.

Released for the first time in 2021, the CADS Dawn Awards recognises best Asean talents within the data space since pioneers who can assist expand youths’ interest in the fields of data science, analytics and AI and eventually make Asean, the best global big data hub.

Stamatis Kourtis, CADS Sunrise Award’s head judge said, “Even though this is the first installment, the response to nominations for the award have been mind-boggling which indicates a vast number of members in the data community, in this particular part of the world. ” 

“With almost 700 million people, the Southeast Asian region may be the third largest at the rear of China and India, and with the rise of education quality plus highly skilled talents in this region, Asean will likely be a worldwide big data hotspot in years to come. ”

From the pool of candidates, winners of CADS Sunrise Awards were carefully vetted plus selected by the CADS resident data scientist team, led simply by Kourtis, the compan said.

The award solar panel searched for top candidates who were able to completely understand, and leverage data analytics and intelligence in a way that garnered strong business results, this said.

According to CADS, the particular CADS Sunrise Awards is part of CADS Project 2100 – an initiative in order to nurture Asean young ones with data literacy skills to unlock high-paying, highly skilled work opportunities and prepare them to face challenges nowadays.  

In line with this vision, CADS said it aims to foster more than 10 mil youths in ASEAN with data literacy skills by the end associated with 2025.
