Apple investing US$250 million to expand Ang Mo Kio campus

SINGAPORE: Apple has announced plans to pump in over US$ 250 million ( S$ 340 million ) to expand its Ang Mo Kio campus in Singapore.

Two houses acquired in 2022, which are next to its existing agencies, will have a significant upgrade. The tech giant stated in a statement on Wednesday ( Apr 17 ) that this will bring” three unique spaces together to foster greater collaboration for Apple’s growing teams.

Design is anticipated to begin this time.

Singapore serves as a key activities center for Apple in the region, and is a gateway for important roles in software, hardware, service and support.  

The new growth is the most recent breakthrough in Apple’s over four decades of work that promotes career development and close relationships with the neighborhood, and it will open up room for growth and new positions in artificial cleverness and other important functions, according to Apple.  

The business had 72 people when it first opened its initial hospital in Singapore in 1981, and it has since grown to have a workforce of more than 3,600.

According to Apple, it supports more than 60,000 work through strong work, its supply chain and the iphone app business.

Orchard Road, Jewel Changi Airport, and Marina Bay Sands are the three Apple store sites in Singapore.
