SINGAPORE: On Wednesday, November 8, CNA’s economic news was honored with three win at the 2023 SIAS Buyers ‘ Choice Awards.
The Securities Investors Association ( Singapore ) sponsors the awards, which honor businesses and individuals who uphold the highest standards of social, corporate, and environmental governance as well as those who promote investing education.
A Special Award was given to the Talking Point staff for their two-part collection on malicious scams, which was hosted by Steven Chia.
The program received praise from SIAS for being” well- investigated and engaging.”
It presented professional concepts in a way that the layperson can easily understand and included real-life examples, according to the organization.
It is an excellent illustration of how effective news you inform the public about pressing issues and effect positive change. It could not have come at a better time.
The program was even “directly related to all owners in Singapore providing guidance and precaution to them how not to be scammed,” the organization added.
