PLUS Picks Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications As Its Cloud Solution

  • Will consolidate PLUS Malaysia’s 37 years of legacy applications
  • New solution will be used to tackle finance and HR applications first 

Running a 1,130-kilometre network of 8 highways which require continuous maintenance and upgrades, PLUS Malaysia's biggest challenge has been integrating multiple operating systems and ensuring employees, especially remote workers, stay connected.

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS Malaysia), an expressway service provider, has selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) to manage its finance and HR processes. 

With finance and HR data dispersed across multiple legacy applications, PLUS Malaysia, which was founded in 1986, decided to move its finance and HR processes to the cloud with Oracle Fusion Applications.

He added that the move will let PLUS Malaysia consolidate systems and streamline processes

In addition, regular updates can enable the finance and HR teams to embrace continuous innovation and continually enhance services to further benefit Malaysia’s citizens,” said Oracle Malaysia managing director, Fitri Abdullah (pic).

Oracle Fusion Application Suite’s quarterly update cycle will also give the PLUS Malaysia team access to continuous innovation, as new features are added every 90 days, without downtime or business disruption.
 
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure integration services, including Visual Builder, have also been utilised to create a new user interface to manage its service procurement requirements more coherently.
 
Oracle Consulting and Tech Mahindra are the implementation partners for the project.
