Zelenskyy meets heads of state in Singapore, seeks support for security summit

Since its invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Russia has not been present at the Singapore safety conference.

A US defense national said, speaking on the condition of anonymity, that Zelenskyy and his defence secretary, Rustem Umerov, may also join with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Sunday on the outside of the event.

According to the official, they will talk about the current state of the Ukrainian conflict on the field, and Austin did “underscore U.S. commitment to ensuring Ukraine has what it needs to defend itself against continuing Russian aggression.”

Zelenskyy is likewise scheduled to address the security event’s last conversation program on” Re-Imagining Answers for International Peace and Regional Stability” on Sunday.

Russia is launching a new rape on Ukraine, particularly in the area of Kharkiv, in the northeast. Experts predict that the recent easement of restrictions on the use of US-provided weapons to attack goals in Russia will support Ukraine stop attacks before they take off.

The Shangri- La Dialogue, organised by the London- based International Institute of Strategic Studies, ends on Sunday.
