During the Bangkok Post Women Vision Forum 2024, dominant women urged everyone to overcome problems with strong attitudes and willpower. They also shared inspiring tales, inspirational messages, and professional experiences.

Pheu Thai Party chief Paetongtarn Shinawatra urged visitors to stop rising hate speech and political conflict at the event held on Thursday at Centara Grand at CentralWorld under the style” Empowering Change for a Better Future.”

She advised that people really strive to make Thailand a more peaceful and prosperous country.

She compared the difficulties she faced as a chief and the daughter of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra as well as the negative effects of contempt in society and politics.

Despite enduring condemnation and cruel treatment, she said she has remained adaptable, buoyed by the aid of her loving home.

Ms. Paetongtarn acknowledged that not everyone has access to family aid, despite the fact that it is crucial to fostering endurance. She then cited government initiatives that promote parental ties and give people more power.

She urged people to be cautious when using their words and stop from wrongfully hurting others while speaking out and forbid the use of hatred and bias.

She emphasized the importance of resilience and self-worth, and in the end, she counseled people to avoid letting hatred identify them.

” Hatred and criticism ca n’t devalue you. Care only for those who matter”, she said.

Suphajee Suthumpun, the CEO of Dusit Thani Group, outlined her beliefs in three essential areas to succeed as a female president in yesterday’s fast-changing world.

” Hear yourself, plan well, know how to work with people, and I believe anything is possible for you all”, she said.

She encouraged anyone, regardless of gender, to not only know about their strengths and weaknesses but also create a strong belief in themselves.

She said that this mindset needs to go hand in hand with great planning techniques to properly prioritize tasks.

She said,” I always think you need to work with individuals if you want to go fast and far at the same time.” ” As a person, we have a very strong feeling of empathy”.

Narumon Chivangkur, state commander and head of banking at Citi Thailand, emphasized the importance of challenging the notion that some people are not “ready” to move up, arguing that having the ability to do so does not make one’s journey to the top.

She encouraged both women and men to acknowledge their intrinsic value and take advantage of potential expansion, even in typically male-dominated industries like banks, drawing from her broad experience at Citi Group.

Ms. Narumon exemplifies the power of endurance, resilience, and a positive mindset through her transition from a vocalist in the 1990s to a well-known business figure.

Her account serves as a motivating example for those trying to find their vocation, encouraging them to push themselves past their comfort zones, face challenges, and take advantage of the opportunities that exist.

Pawarapa Dupassakoon, marketing and PR chairman at Porsche Thailand by AAS Group, epitomises the power of the “never say no” perspective as a motivator for career success, independent of sex.

She emphasized the value of being open to new opportunities and acknowledged that taking a risk can prevent you from achieving your goals of progress.

In a usually adult- dominated industry like the engine business, Ms Pawarapa’s trip exemplifies resilience and adaptability.

She accepted every challenge and opportunity that presented herself, while progressively developing her knowledge and expertise within the market industry, despite entering new place at a young age.

Beyond her expert achievements, Ms Pawarapa’s view on Porsche transcends simple product selling, recognising it as a symbol of happiness and shared moments.

Her endurance and growth mindset are exemplified by her ability to navigate both the highs and lows of her job quest.

However, Anntonia Porsild, the first skater- up Miss Universe 2023, imparted a stirring tale of independence, rooted in dignity and deliberate actions.

She openly described the challenges she encountered while navigating a landscape that is frequently stricken by unfair scrutiny and false criticism as she went along.

However, in the face of adversity, she found pleasure in her unwavering commitment to exceed standard expectations.

Ms Anntonia embarked on a mission to redefine the essence of beauty queenhood, inspired by a deep sense of duty instilled by her mother.

Through her foundation, she became a beacon of hope, extending a lifeline to the marginalised and vulnerable.

Though the coveted Miss Universe crown remained elusive, Ms Anntonia’s spirit remained undaunted.

Embracing the lessons of setbacks with grace, she championed the ethos of resilience, affirming that true victory transcends mere accolades.
