Separately upon National Day (Aug 9), expect to view the parade debut from the CH-47F heavy raise helicopter, the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) alternative to the older model of the Chinook helicopter. It’s involved in a helocasting move, exactly where RSN divers jump into the waters of Marina Bay.
Said RSAF pilot Major Daniel Goh Kiang Chong: “I would state the manoeuvre, or rather the dexterity, is more intense since based on the flight profile within the bay area, we’re looking at a brief two minutes plus we’re descending through 100m down to 3m within the bay area. So there’s a lot of dexterity required of the crew. ”
“The biggest distinction between previous shows and this year’s show is for us in order to showcase the CH-47F (Chinook) model -as we know, the plane is just newly sent to Singapore this year. When it comes to avionics and ability, it’s definitely a lot more capable than the previous model, ” he or she added.
