Chon Buri: A affect force from a US aircraft made its way to Laem Chabang on Wednesday for a planned port attend.

The ship strike team’s lineup, USS Theodore Roosevelt, has never visited Thailand since 2018. It arrived with Carrier Air Wing 11 embarked. Boats from Destroyer Squadron 23 visiting Sri Racha include the USS Russell, USS Daniel K Inouye, USS Halsey, and USS Howard.

Back Adm. Christopher Alexander, leader of Carrier Strike Group Nine, thanked the Thais for their kindness in welcoming our attack party during this port visit.

We have had numerous opportunities to meet, coach, and operate with allies and partners in the region during this implementation, and we look forward to this opportunity to deepen the US Navy and Thailand’s long-standing companionship, he said.

Crew members will have the opportunity to observe the nation while the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier and other vessels from the attack class are docked in port. Additionally, the aircraft carrier will host a number of community service events, and some Thai-American crewmembers will have the opportunity to make new friends with their families.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt‘s captain, Capt Brian Schrum, said,” The Sailors are honoured to be returning to the great state of Thailand after quite a long absence.”

Our team thanks the Thai individuals for welcoming us with kindness and generosity, saying that they look forward to learning about Thailand’s rich history and making lasting friendships while staying here.

On January 12, Carrier Strike Group Nine left San Diego for a constantly scheduled rollout to the Western Pacific.
