Truck driver’s body recovered from huge Japan sinkhole after three months

Tokyo: A Chinese firefighters reported on Friday ( May 2 ) that they have recovered the body of a truck drivers who was sucked into a massive hole close to Tokyo three months ago.

Later in January, a 74-year-old man was driving his trucks on a road in the city of Yashio when it caved in during morning rush hour.

The crater, which was reported to be 16 meters full in February, was apparently caused by rotted sewerage pipes.

Uncertain floor furthered the risk of the abyss collapsing, which also prevented rescuers from approaching the location where the driver was thought to be buried.

The gap has since grown to be about the length of an Olympic swimming pool, reaching an average of at least 40 meters across.

A slope eventually made it possible for rescuers to dump large amounts of equipment into the hole, and 1.2 million people were asked to temporarily reduce their use of showers and laundry to stop leaking sewage from preventing the operation.

According to local officials, walls were constructed to protect people.

A spokeswoman for the local fire department said Friday that we found a man inside the vehicle room, confirmed his death, and then reported the incident to the police.

According to a police spokesman, investigations are ongoing, including formally confirming the heart’s personality.

A family member of the unknown pilot said in a speech to Japanese press that “my father, who had a strong spirit, must have been hoping to come home alive.”” Until the very end of his life, he must have been fighting fear and pain,” the statement said.

” I didn’t feel or accept the fact that my father, who was beloved by all, mysteriously vanished,” the statement said.
