Thais in Taiwan warned to stay alert as typhoon nears

As Taiwan’s citizens are on the alert, Typhoon Gaemi is expected to make landfall on Wednesday night, and Thai residents have been warned to strictly follow orders issued by officials.

All Thai citizens may work with Chinese officials and be attentive, according to the Thailand Trade and Economic Office. &nbsp,

Gaemi is expected to&nbsp, make land in Taiwan on Wednesday night, bringing heavy rain and strong winds after passing the Philippines.

Financial markets are closed, people have been given the day off work, and some domestic and international airlines and college classes cancelled, Reuters reported.

A search on social media sources of flights departing Bangkok to Taiwan on Wednesday- Thai Airways International, China Airlines and Eva Air -&nbsp, found no flight delays.

Eva advised people to keep up with the position on their phones. Before heading to the airport, individuals are advised to examine the journey position to get the most recent release, according to the airline’s post on X.

The Thai company in Taiwan said regions likely to be affected by the storms included Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan and Kaohsiung. &nbsp,
