Temasek Foundation appoints new chairman

SINGAPORE: Temasek Foundation on Thursday ( Sep 5 ) announced the appointment of Ms Jennie Chua as its new chairman.

Her visit was effective on September 1.

Mr Chua succeeds Mr Benny Lim, who served as the organisation’s president for the past four decades.

Temasek Foundation said Mr Lim provided monitoring in guiding the organisation’s” proper change” during his career. &nbsp,

He also led the organization through its COVID-19 efforts, extending different national efforts to increase resilience against the pandemic and aiding Singaporeans in staying healthy, alongside the table.

WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE

Ms. Chua, who has worked for the base since its founding in 2007, said she brings with her “wealth of knowledge.” &nbsp,

” We look forward to an exciting new book of development for the organization as we welcome Ms. Jennie Chua into this position.”

Ms Chua&nbsp, is a previous CEO of Raffles Holdings and Ascott Group, and recently served as chief commercial officer for CapitaLand.

She was even president of the Community Chest of Singapore and is now its director, &nbsp, according to her entrance on the&nbsp, Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame&nbsp, site.

Ms. Chua has received a number of National Day distinctions, the most recent one being this year’s Separated Service Order. &nbsp,

Additionally, she was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in 2014, the Public Service Medal in 2004, and the Public Service Star in 2008. &nbsp,

According to the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame, she sits on the table of various companies and organisations&nbsp, including&nbsp, the Alexandra Health System and the Singapore Film Commission.
