Teck Lee LRT station will open to improve connectivity to SIT's Punggol Campus: LTA

SINGAPORE: &nbsp, Teck Lee LRT station will open to enhance public transport connectivity in Punggol, said the Land Transport Authority ( LTA ) on Tuesday ( May 7 ), about 19 years after the station was built. &nbsp,

Along with bus route amendments, these enhancements to public transport will serve students at Singapore Institute of Technology’s ( SIT ) new Punggol campus, as well as “other stakeholders”, said LTA. &nbsp,

The station’s opening date was not made public, but the power said more information may be revealed when they were finalized.

However, there were signs that the train would assuredly opened in time to accommodate students who moved into the fresh SIT campus by the end of the year.
