Andy Lau proudly shows 11-year-old daughter’s paintings in exhibition, says she’s ‘more creative than me’

Andy Lau, a 61-year-old singer-actor from Hong Kong, recently displayed his first work of art in 1 / X Andrew Lau X Art Exhibition. & nbsp, The exhibition featured paintings, digital artwork, calligraphy pieces, and even a three-meter-tall sculpture of Lau’s character from the 2003 Hong Kong action movie Running On Karma, all of which provided viewers with an alternative view of the Heavenly King.

The area honoring Lau and his girl, Hanna, who is 11 years old, received the most attention.

Lau is not afraid to share Hanna’s artwork, despite his well-known protection of her private and that of his wife, Malay former model Carol Chu, age 57.

South Korean rapper Bang Yong-guk earns praise for having prayer breaks during Malaysian concert

In a stark contrast to the Matty Healy controversy, South Korean rapper Bang Yong-guk has won praise for his actions during his recent concert in Malaysia. On Thursday (Jul 20), the former BAP leader was performing at Kuala Lumpur’s Shantanand Auditorium as part of his ongoing Colors Of Bang Yongguk tour.

In a video posted by Twitter user Malaysian Kpop Fans, it was revealed that Bang paused his concert to allow Muslim fans to perform their prayers.

Good Vibes Festival 2023 cancellation: How singers and fans made the best of a bad situation

Australian singer The Kid Laroi was slated to headline the second day of the Good Vibes Festival on Jul 22. However, he only found out about the festival’s fate upon touching down in Malaysia. In a series of Instagram stories, The Kid Laroi then apologised to Malaysian fans and hinted that he would perform at his hotel bar.

Soon, fans gathered at Sama-Sama Hotel’s bar as the singer serenaded them with hits such as Stay, Without You and Thousand Miles.

Watch the video: K-pop supergroup BTS’ Jungkook releases solo single Seven

Jungkook, a member of K-Pop supergroup BTS, officially launched on Friday (Jul 14) his solo career with the release of single Seven, a track also featuring American rapper Latto.

BTS is on temporary break as a group with two of its seven members currently doing mandatory military service in South Korea, but other members are continuing to carry out solo projects and concerts.

The group have gained a huge international following after breaking ground for K-pop’s global success including in the US music charts and industry awards.

The video for Seven – described by his music label as an invigorating summer song – was also revealed on Friday and includes an appearance by South Korean actress Han So-hee.

His label BigHit is part of South Korean entertainment company HYBE and also manages BTS.

Ahead of his official solo debut, Jungkook previously released two free singles.

Fans have been camping out for days to get a chance to see the K-pop star perform his new song in New York’s Central Park on Friday.

Taiwan’s MeToo movement: 4 celebrities who have been accused of sexual assault and harassment

A few hours later, veteran Taiwanese host Mickey Huang posted a series of now-deleted videos where he admitted to being the perpetrator in question.

In one of the videos, Huang said: “I’ve been constantly thinking of how I should face all this. First of all, I must definitely apologise. I’m really sorry to have let down so many people and (ruined) the trust and expectations they had of me.”

He goes on to apologise to his wife, Summer Meng, adding: “In the past 10 years, I’ve been working extremely hard to change myself. But as a lot of things have already happened in the past, it was really hard to change and right (my previous wrongs). No matter how much good I did, it was too late, I could only constantly expend more effort to try and change and alleviate this lump in my heart.”

Within hours of the videos being posted, Huang was rushed to the Taipei Chang Gung Memorial Hospital after allegedly slashing his left wrist and the left side of his chest.

Also on Jun 19, former model Amber Chang recounted an incident she was sexually assaulted by a celebrity who appeared as a guest on the variety show she was in. After the shoot, the celebrity offered to send Chang home. However, during the ride, he suddenly stopped his car by the road and forced Chang into the back seat.
