
According to the foreign ministry, South Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hong-kyun may visit Indonesia this week to meet with his Indian counterpart about bilateral cooperation, Yonhap News Agency reported on Monday.
Kim will travel to Jakarta on Tuesday for a two-day trip, where he will discuss important diplomatic issues with one another through diplomacy, including discussions with an Indonesian vice minister, according to the ministry.
Following the establishment of a” comprehensive strategic partnership” with the regional bloc late last year, South Korea is working to strengthen ties with individual member states of the Association of South-East Asian Nations ( Asean ).
