At 8.58.11am, the aircraft discussed birds flying under the Boeing 737-800, subsequently declared headquarters at 8.58.56am, reporting a bird hit while the aircraft was on a go-around, the statement said.
Airport CCTV film even showed the planes making” call” with animals during the go-around, it said.
Prior to now, the government had claimed that the pilots had issued the distress signal as a result of bird strikes before moving on.
The aircraft crashed at 9.02.57am, slamming into an hillside, and inhaling flames that left only two staff members in the neck section.
