SINGAPORE: Several Singapore Airlines ( SIA ) flights to and from Tokyo on Thursday ( Aug 15 ) have been affected by , weather conditions caused by Typhoon Ampil.
Eight SIA airlines to and from Narita and Haneda flights were retimed in a SIA advice. Between Singapore and Tokyo, six of these airlines were made.
In response to CNA’s question on Thursday, an aircraft spokesperson said in response to CNA’s comment that SIA will be in contact with the affected customers to let them know about the change in airfare timings.
Customers may ask for a full payment for the portion of their ticket that has been unoccupied, according to SIA, or to be re-accommodated on other flights.
” Our top priority is always the safety of our customers and crew,” says the company. SIA may continue to monitor the situation carefully and make any changes, as required”.
Additionally, the flight apologised to all users for the pain they caused.
According to another advisory issued on Thursday, the storms may cause delays or ground transport cancellations.
” Choose contact your airline or earth travel business for more knowledge”, it added.
