Pek Li Jun’s grandmother used to nourish her with enticing mommy- daughter bonding time, quite as shopping trips, good lunches and teas, and holidays. These luxuries have fallen by the wayside since they started collaborating in 2020, though.

The family of a 22-month-old son is the executive director of Pilates Connect and co-founder of HER Wellness Club, a health and wellness membership she opened with her mother in February. She was originally a creative producer in marketing.

Cheo Hock Kuan, her mother, says,” The best part about working with Li Jun is that I get to see her much more than at regular trips or occasionally visits abroad.”

Before she retired in 2022, Cheo, the previous CEO of Temasek Trust, was inspired by the transformative power of gymnastics in her mid-fifties to buy shop gymnastics theater SmartFit Pilates. The Moving Body party was purchased by her daughter in 2020, and the pair then jointly launched HER Wellness Club, which they co-founded in early this year.
