SINGAPORE: The High Court on Thursday( May 4) sentenced the primary offender in several wife-sharing rape cases & nbsp, carried out by men who met on an explicit online forum & nbpsp. He was given a 29-year prison sentence and 24 strokes of the cane.

The 42-year-old Singaporean plotted with five other men to have his own family raped and drugged over the course of eight years. Additionally, he plotted with two other men to violate their wife or ex-wife.

The judge described the man, who only goes by the name J, as” a shocking treachery of marital trust and severe physical perversion” at the center of the cases.

J faced & nbsp, the offender with the most charges, on Thursday, admitting guilt to five counts of conspiring to commit rape and one charge of sexual assault. There were 11 additional cost taken into account. He had formerly been represented by two different sets of attorneys, but he decided to represent himself instead.

Due to giggle purchases imposed by the court, all parties in the case may be named.

J, a health officer, wed his 41-year-old woman in 2008, and the two of them have four children up. J came up with a strategy to calm his wife so that other men could have sex with her after he asked her if she was interested in being in the threesome but was rejected.

On the forum Sammyboy and other sites for wife-sharing fantasies, he first met his six & nbsp, accomplices, in 2010.

In a string about wife-sharing on the Sammyboy on conference between 2009 and 2010, J got to know his partners Oxygen and K. & nbsp,

J’s woman confided in him that she wasn’t feeling clearly between 2010 and 2011. J pretended to give her medication while actually giving her a depressant, which made her lose consciousness.

The rest of the family was asleep when J persuaded O to go over to his place and assault J’s wife. While watching, J experienced” a mixture of sadness and rousing ,” according to the prosecution.

Following this incident, J plotted with many men to have them rape his wife in a similar way. Additionally, he planned to plunder the ex-wife and wife of two collaborators.

When J’s family woke up before her father in January 2020 and saw a game playing on his phone, the way was revealed. In a Skype conversation with her partner K, she saw expressed pictures of herself.

She scrolled down and saw that the soldiers had been having sex with their ladies. J was jolted awake by her, and she persuaded him to get her to K’s house. Later, the soldiers were taken into custody.

Imprisonment ELEMENTS

J was asked to serve a maximum of 24 wood strokes and between 28 and 32 years in prison by prosecution under the direction of deputy public prosecutor Gail Wong.

Ms. Wong claimed that there had been a” gross betrayal and abuse of trust ,” pointing out that J had intended to drug his own wife while pretending to be giving her medication before making plans to have his accomplices rape her.

J stated that he was pleading guilty in order to take responsibility and receive his” scheduled punishment” in moderation.

” Right now, my main concern is the safety of my wife and my children, so I would like to ask your honor’s consideration in putting me to go for legal assessment and diagnosis of what is really going on in my mind ,” he said.

He requested treatment so that he could” become considered reliable enough to be returned to my home, my life, as my femoral cell is still largely alive.”

J is reportedly receiving counseling and clinical care while incarcerated.

The trial refuted his claim that his wife had pardoned him by reading from her victim impact speech, which stated:” I kept thinking about how violent he was to do this to me.”

J added that his wife’s extramarital affairs in 2010 and 2014 were the reason he committed the crimes.

Additionally, he presented a letter from his mother pleading with the judge to be forgiving of her” filial” son, who is” responsible and loving good father” to his four sons.

According to the trial, the anxious psychiatrists concurred that J was neither mentally unstable nor incapable of restraint.

A murderer who claims to be addicted to female cannot or should have any mitigating weight given to him, according to Ms. Wong. This only indicates that he has a strong desire to engage in sexual activity.

She continued by saying that the reason he was depressed while incarcerated was his concern that his wife may file for divorce.

Justice See Kee Oon stated in his punishment that he did not agree that J’s behavior was somehow lessened by his alleged” abuse.”

Justice See said he could not deny how J’s reduction petition was overflowing with self-serving justifications and attempt to shift the blame to others, despite the fact that J claimed to be sorry and wanted to” atone for his sins.”

J claimed in the petition that the offenses were a form of retaliation for his wife’s alleged dishonesty.

The jury claimed that even though she did have matters, J already did. He continued,” Irrespective of any perceived score, the offenses did not justify them.”

He emphasized that none of the other co-accused were responsible for more than five offenses, whereas J was accountable for 17. J listened to the phrase while standing in the dock, looking dejected and wearing a mask over his nose.

In November, four of the men involved — K, L, M, and N — were given prison terms ranging from 13 to 15 years to 22 years. The wood was used 20 times on three of them, but the third did not because he was older than 50.

P, the fifth man, received his punishment in January 2022.

The case against O, the next guy, is still pending.
