Sentosa sky lantern festival: Police investigating event amid complaints, calls for refunds

In the immediate aftermath of the occasion, Sentosa Development Corporation ( SDC ) directed ticketholders to call the&nbsp, event administrator- Asian Prada and Boutique- for payments.

SDC even provided the contact information for Mr Bautista and other event organiser Mr Steven Lau.

But, the event organiser immediately announced that ticket sales were last and no- refundable. Mr Bautista also said that those cards may be appropriate for a rescheduled celebration around the first week of April. &nbsp,

” For those who ca n’t attend the next event, you can re- sell your tickets at TicketSwap. Thank you for your style understanding”.

The&nbsp, Consumers Association of Singapore ( CASE ) told CNA&nbsp, last week&nbsp, that it received 11 consumer complaints regarding the event. &nbsp,

” In general, customers complained that the sector involving the transfer of sky lights was marketed as the highlight of the event and this was cancelled without previous notice”, CASE leader Melvin Yong said

CNA has contacted CASE for changes and if more concerns have since been lodged. &nbsp,
