KHON KAEN: On Wednesday night, officers were searching for a drug-related convicted accused who escaped while being taken to a jail vehicle.

The inmate was Ratchaphon Khiannok, aged 35 times, Pol Col Yotsawat Kaewsuebthanyanit, commander of Muang police station in Khon Kaen, said on Thursday.

Security cameras recordings showed Ratchaphon, also wearing shackles, climbing rapidly over the jury fence at 5.11pm. Two persons, one believed to be his partner, were waiting for him with a bike.

Ratchaphon fled with one of them on the scooter, heading towards Prachasamosorn Road, Pol Col Yotsawat said. The inmate was dressed in his captivity garb.

Local media reports that the girl had been detained.

After being detained with 8, 600 meth pills in his possession, Ratchaphon was present at the courtroom for punishment. He was given a jail term of 24 times, 6 weeks and 10 weeks, according to local advertising. &nbsp,
