Fire rages through paper factory in Samut Sakhon

Late on Saturday night, a paper recycling shop in the Samut Sakhon district caught fire.

Around 11 a.m., according to authorities, the mill in tambon Ban Koh caught fire.

Local authorities, the statewide disaster protection office, and Bang Pla tambon administration organization sent fire trucks there. According to police, large bundles of compressed papers for recycling were swiftly caught in flames.

About one-third of the 30-acre page has been destroyed so much as a result of the fire.

As of 12.30pm, the flames had not been brought under control. According to the Fire &amp, Rescue Thailand Facebook page, some firefighters had to be evacuated from the neighborhood as the structure of the fire-gutted building collapsed.

The cause of the incident is being looked into by authorities. Harm could not be estimated.
