A second North Korean believe has been detained in Phnom Penh and is being held by Vietnamese government in connection with the murder of a person who was discovered dead in a concrete-filled barrel in a reservoir close to Pattaya.

Roh, who arrived in Thailand on April 30th, was reported missing on May 3. In Bangkok, the three men reportedly abducted him. After receiving a LINE request for 3 million ringgit in exchange for his life, his mother contacted the South Korean ambassador in Thailand for assistance.

South Korean authorities are also looking into the same case, and they are even wanted.

According to Yonhap, the first suspect detained will be officially detained and charged with accessory to the crime rather than murder. Under questioning, he had denied he was involved in the actual crime, the report said.
