After being recognized as the island’s top healthcare place, Koh Samui has launched a campaign to promote its gastronomic soft energy.

The culinary plan, called” Samui Savor, Beyond Boarding Pass, Beyond good… through taste”, is a collaborative work between Bangkok Airways, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and other associates.

Visitors to 42 Koh Samui participating restaurants may be given a discount and the opportunity to get free domestic airlines upon presenting their boarding pass.

The strategy aims to promote and encourage Koh Samui’s gastronomic and wellness tourism, according to Ploenphit Kosonyuthasan, chairman of tourism and ally marketing promotion at Bangkok Airways Plc.

The strategy supports and promotes nearby restaurants, communities, entrepreneurs and Michelin Guide- endorsed great dining establishments and even focuses on sustainable hospitality.

” Koh Samui has long been properly- known as a wellness place. But, not many folks know that the area is also a food heaven with Michelin- endorsed eateries”, she said.

The 42 participating dining establishments include good- dining restaurants, cafes, regional and city food eateries, health- oriented eateries, and farm- to- table establishments.

Customers who dine there between May 20 and September 30 will have the chance to win one or more of Bangkok Airways ‘ 20 domestic flight rewards.
