Public health messaging on monkeypox should be for everyone: Advocacy groups warn against stigma

SINGAPORE: Groups advocating with regard to communities who may be at risk during the monkeypox outbreak have cautioned against stigmatising their members.

Any public wellness message should be for everyone who is sexually active, said Mr Leow Yangfa, executive movie director of Oogachaga, a good organisation that works with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, andersrum (umgangssprachlich) and gender-diverse (LGBTQ+) people.
