Israel on Sunday repressed a significant retribution operation the Iran-backed army had planned from southern Lebanon against the Jewish state after a string of remarkable intelligence and military functions that culminated in the arrest of Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah’s best military commander.
Hezbollah was locked and loaded, ready to attack, deeply inside Israel, a” proper military goal to get announced”. Build time was 5 is, local time. At 4: 45, but, 100 Jewish fighter jets started pounding — together — lots of Hezbollah jet missiles that had moved into position to launch the offensive.
The Jewish fighter jet took out most, but not all, of Hezbollah’s attack property. Israeli air threats, the Iron Dome, went into action and shot over nearly all projectiles as explosive uavs and Katyusha rockets continued to enter Israeli aircraft. Only two photos emerged showing destruction to Israel after all was said and done:
- a Hezbollah jet detonated in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, and
- a chicken house that was depicted burning, causing the world to denigrate the Palestinian Islamist militia and refer to its attack as” Baked Chicken.”
During the first minute of the increase, Hezbollah released its initial declaration, which seemed to have been prepared before the , activity. ” We shall exact revenge on the crooks”, the speech opened.
The statement continued,” The troops of the Islamic weight launched an aerial hit using a large number of drones aimed deeply into the Zionist object toward a strategic military objective that will be announced later,”” as a primary answer to the Zionist aggression on the southern suburb of Beirut that led to the martyrdom of the great jihadist commander Fuad Shukr.”
Hezbollah also claimed in a statement in advance that it had launched missiles at Israeli military installations and Iron Dome batteries in addition to its attack on the particular Jewish target with explosive drones.
In contrast to the April 14 Egyptian attack on Israel, the Hezbollah offensive was strategically designed in a inverted sequence. Iran’s air defenses were foremost targeted by the Iranians, who hoped to attack and occupy Israel before launch of ballistic missiles to attack their targets inside the Jewish state. Hezbollah, but, used its missiles to mash the Iron Dome, therefore sent in the drones to reach full into Israel.
But owing to Israel’s proactive attack, which took out what some estimated to have been 1, 500 weapons before they even launched, just 320 of Hezbollah’s weapons took off – allowing Iron Dome to shoot them down quickly and deal with the robots.
Hezbollah’s invasion was a dud. To keep face, the Iran-backed military immediately issued a statement saying that it concluded” the first period” of its function, listing 11 military goals that it had hit. The Lebanese group also produced a publicity video, using Google map images, to mark the targeted spots.
That Hezbollah cited the number 320 rockets, most likely exaggerated, suggests that the militia was trying to show that, despite Israeli preemption, it still managed to attack. The number 320 is relatively small, given that on many days, Hezbollah’s projectiles on Israel reach 150. The militia also found it compelling to say that all its drones” crossed” without being intercepted, as planned, and struck their targets.
Missing from Hezbollah’s statement was any mention of the” strategic target” that was the goal of the whole operation.
Hezbollah was reportedly attempting to attack the Mossad’s headquarters and the Israeli Defense Forces ‘ military intelligence unit known as Unit 8200, according to Israeli media. The Lebanese militia, perhaps, issued a statement claiming that the operation was” the first stage” of avenging the killing of Shukr when it realized that its plans had gone wrong.
To make up for its failure, Hezbollah reverted to propaganda. Its chief, Hassan Nasrallah, delivered a speech in which he spun information to depict his flop as a victory. Hassan handcuffed its ally and characterized the failed attack as an Israeli” slap on the face”
Even though it’s unlikely that the damage Hezbollah did to Israel was significant, the damage that was still being done by the gag order has not yet been determined.
We are currently aware that Israel’s intelligence and military prowess have allowed Hezbollah to launch rocket launchers and launch operations as planned once more.
Hezbollah should be alarmed by the unavoidable conflict between the two and ask it to reconsider its position by agreeing to a ceasefire with Israel, even if it does n’t have a ceasefire in Gaza. Then, in order to allow 110, 000 Israelis to return to their homes and reside safely there, Hezbollah should withdraw its fighters from the border with Israel.
If Hezbollah does not learn its lesson from Sunday’s attack, it might be in for more Israeli surprises.
