Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, requested on Saturday that the government move quickly with their investigation into the fire at Win Process ‘ toxic waste storage facility in Rayong’s Ban Khai area.

Mr. Srettha inquired about the time frame for the investigation to be completed while inspecting the page. He was informed that officers had not enter the site until it was determined that doing so would be safe to do so.

Mr. Srettha was even informed that there was a chance of the fire spreading even though it was under control.

The blaze broke out on Monday at the hospital, affecting 100 people. Authorities did not rule out fire as the cause of the incident, noting the tree’s electricity provide had long been disconnected.

On Wednesday evening, a second fire broke out, with the government discovering higher levels of harmful chemicals in the air over the surrounding area.

There were about 10, 00 tonnes of metal waste in the hospital, Kanchalee Navickabhum, deputy chairman of the Pollution Control Department, said next year. The material, when on fire, may be extinguished using water as it will produce a chemical reaction that will expand the incident, he said.

The blaze was under control, according to a team of firefighters from the NPC firm based in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, and work was being done to stop it from spreading.

Mr. Srettha has given the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation the task of creating a treatment program for the occupants.

Additionally, it was ordered that the Pollution Control Department and the Industrial Works Department keep an eye on the quality of the air.

According to reports, the PM criticized the Industry Ministry for being slow to take action.
