According to deputy federal police chief Surachate Hakparn, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin wants authorities to serve the general public rather than powerful individuals.
At the official home of the prime minister, Phitsanulok Mansion, Pol Gen Surachate met him.

Officers shouldn’t back those powerful people… Authorities must be on the person’s area, the prime minister insisted, according to Pol Gen Surachate.
Following the fatal shooting on Wednesday, the assistant federal police chief claimed that the police officers present at the dinner group in Nakhon Pathom lied during the first questioning.

He affirmed that as long as there was proof of the crime, offenders may be subject to legal action.
A CCTV client at the home of the regional administrator was among the proof. He made reference to CCTV footage taken at Praween Chankhlai’s home in Nakhon Pathom, a 35-year-old kamnan( sub-district chief ).

Some police officials will undoubtedly be held accountable in the case, he declared.
He claimed that there were three parties of police officers who attended the dinner party at Mr. Praween’s home.
One of them was the soldiers who left the house immediately following the shooting. Officials who destroyed evidence and removed Mr. Praween from the crime scene made up the second class. The picture investigator was rushed to the hospital by the other group.
Pol Gen Surachate claimed that during the interrogation of the witnesses and defendants, everyone pointed to Mr. Praween as the person who had given the order to shoot.
