Chalerm: Reverts to Thaksin

On Thursday, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin urged the Pheu Thai Party, which is in power, to mediate what he saw as an inner dispute between its leaders and disgruntled group steadfast Chalerm Ubumrung.

Mr. Srettha acknowledged he was unaware of the circumstances surrounding the aftermath while serving as the party’s so-called Pheu Thai Family assistant, which prompted Pol Capt Chalerm to declare his relationship with Thaksin Shinawatra to be severed.

The jailed former top Thaksin, who has spent more than a month staying at the Police General Hospital, is highly regarded by Pheu Thai members and is thought to have significant sway over the celebration.

Pol Capt Chalerm declared on Wednesday that he had permanently turned his back on Thaksin. He allegedly claimed that his choice was final.

A source with knowledge of the situation claims that Thaksin was incensed when he learned from a news report that his son Wan Ubumrung and list-MP Pol Capt Chalerm did not want cabinet portfolios because they were” troublesome.”

In an interview on Wednesday, political veteran and former Thaksin close ally Pol Capt Chalerm also challenged the former premier to officially expel him from Pheu Thai if he felt the need to be disowned.

There is nothing left to say, according to Pol Capt Chalerm,” given what I really said, I think it’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.”

Simply explain it out if you want us to stay or leave, Mr. Wan wrote on Facebook.

Mr. Srettha responded to the argument by saying that respectful discussions can be very effective at resolving issues.

Acting Pheu Thai president and deputy prime minister Phumtham Wechayachai expressed optimism that the dispute may be resolved quickly.

He expressed his desire to speak with Pol Captain Chalerm and resolve the issue. ” Pol Capt Chalerm has been with Pheu Thai for a very long time and is well-liked by the group for his helpful advice on many different topics and times.”
